Optics
This fluorescence automated cell counter combines brightfield and dual fluorescence optics. Counting live and dead cells with trypan blue staining or performing GFP transfection analysis using fluorescently stained cells; the LUNA-FL™ allows you to get the most sensitive cell analysis results. You can count your cell suspensions with cell sizes ranging from 1 to 90 μm. Analyze brightfield and fluorescence cell images within 30 sec.
With the four counting modes: brightfield, fluorescence, yeast cells, and GFP, you have all the versatility you need. Use preset protocols or easily customize and store your protocols for later use.
GFP transfection efficiency analysis
Capture and analyze high-resolution images of GFP-positive and negative cells. The LUNA-FL™ displays the corresponding fluorescence intensity histogram on the touchscreen for effortless analysis.
The interactive software lets you instantly gate your counted cells based on size. Using the histogram that displays live and dead cell populations, you can easily exclude or include the particles by simple dragging.
Data report and printer options
The LUNA-FL™ automatically stores your counting data. The system's hard disk stores up to 1,000 counts. To analyze your results, export them via the USB port as a CSV file. You can also save your results and images as a PDF report file. The LUNA-FL™ provides a compact mobile printer to print your data immediately. This plug-and-play portable printer is ready to use via a USB connection and accepts thermal roll paper or label paper.
