Buffer XT-R is a ready-to-use Strep-Tactin®XT regeneration buffer. It contains magnesium chloride which competitively displaces biotin from the resin after protein elution with biotin-containing buffer BXT. It should be noted that the Buffer XT-R is not compatible with Strep-Tactin® resins.
