The Westburg SafeStore sample storage line includes rigid cryo storage boxes capable of handling demanding conditions. The 81-Place, up to 2mL, Freezer Rack, Lift-Off Lid, is made of durable polypropylene (PP). The SafeStore cryo storage boxes are for storing samples of various compositions at -90 °C to +121°C, from deep-freeze storage to autoclave conditions. Usually overlooked but of concern, cryo storage boxes have drains and vents to prevent pressure from building up, especially when cooled below -80°C.
The cryostorage box comes in lid-off and hinged lid versions in various colors for 1.5 ml to 2.0 ml tube sizes.
