These SafeStore tubes are manufactured from a proprietary resin and are for homogenization using bead handles, iron, glass, and ceramic beads. Homogenization requires tubes, such as these, that can withstand the rigors of lysis applications and are shatter-resistant. 2.0 ml Bead Beating Screw tubes are ideal for homogenization of samples. The tubes are shatter-resistant and come with pre-assembled caps, and like all Westburg private label supplies, the SafeStore tubes are certified free of detectable RNase, DNase, DNA, and PCR inhibitors and tested pyrogen-free. The tubes are supplied as 200 tubes per unit and 5 units per case.
