The ultrapure, medical-grade polypropylene SafeStore screw-cap storage tubes are for storing samples of various compositions at -196°C to +121°C. They can be used in nitrogen storage to autoclave conditions, however, the tubes are not suitable for immersion in liquid nitrogen. Suitable for vapor-phase liquid nitrogen storage and not for immersion in liquid nitrogen.
Like most SafeStore products, these cryotubes come non-sterile or sterile and are certified free of detectable RNase, DNase, DNA, and PCR inhibitors and tested pyrogen-free. Of course, resistant to various solvents for long-term cold storage, all SafeStore cryotubes can withstand being centrifuged at 20,000 G.
