The RTS pIVEX E. coli vectors are well-suited for high-yield cell-free expression of His6-tagged proteins using a wide range of RTS expression kits.
The two vectors contain all regulatory elements necessary for in vitro expression based on the combination of T7 RNA polymerase and RTS expression lysates. The RTS pIVEX E. coli vectors enable the attachment of the His6-tag in different orientations at the C- and N-terminus of the protein. Cloning into RTS pIVEX His6-tag vectors allows optimal protein expression with high yields.
