The biotechrabbit™ RTS 100 Wheat Germ CECF Kit enables high expression and solubility success rates, especially for eukaryotic target proteins. The use of PCR-generated linear templates improves convenience significantly. The kits allow the synthesis of proteins in a broad molecular weight range (up to 220 kDa, as tested) and truncated protein variants, such as for epitope or functional domain mapping. While the RTS 100 Wheat Germ CECF Kit is designed for high-throughput protein expression, the RTS 500 version ensures higher yields.
The system can be used with linear templates and mRNA, vectors, and plasmid DNA. Depending on the protein, expression yields of more than 1 mg protein per reaction can be obtained within 24 hours in a 1 ml reaction.
