Rapid, accurate, single bacterium detection with the Quantom Tx Microbial Cell Counter

With the novel cell detection sensitive 1/3” CMOS sensor and declustering algorithm of the QUANTOM Tx™, it takes just minutes to detect and accurately count individual bacterial cells in even the tightest clusters. The workflow is straightforward for any user. With a magnification of 10X, the object Count and excitation/emission spectra: Ex 470/30 nm, Em 530/50 nm, you can count ~0.3-50 μm cells optimally with concentrations ranging from 2 x 105 to 1 x 109 cells/mL. The optimal range is 1 x 106 to 5 x 108 cells/mL.

Interested in viability counts?

Count the cells two times separately using different stains and calculate the viability by hand. When capturing and analyzing ten images, the QUANTOM Tx™ counts cells within 1.73 mm2. As the QUANTOM™ M50 Cell Counting Slide has a chamber height of 50 μm, the measuring volume of 10 images is approximately 0.09 μL. The QUANTOM™ is vital for accurate counting for distributing cells along a single plan.
