The QUANTOM™ Total Cell Staining Kit is an all-encompassing kit for labeling bacterial cells for counting with the QUANTOM Tx™ Microbial Cell Counter. It contains the QUANTOM™ Total Cell Staining Dye, the QUANTOM™ Total Cell Staining Enhancer, and the QUANTOM™ Cell Loading Buffer I.
The QUANTOM™ Total Cell Staining Dye can stain the nucleic acid of live and dead gram-positive and negative bacterial cells.
The QUANTOM™ Total Cell Staining Enhancer improves dye penetration into cells and evenly distributes the dye in the solution. This allows for an enhanced contrast and a uniform background.
The QUANTOM™ Cell Loading Buffer I is a gradient medium that is used for the even distribution and sedimentation of the bacterial cells in the QUANTOM™ M50 Cell Counting Slides.
