FreezeMe Two is a serum-free cryoprotective cell culture medium based on an organic preservation medium containing 10% dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). It has a special formulation that ensures the high viability of cells and makes it particularly suitable for applications in stem cell research, such as embryonic and adult stem cells, induced pluripotent cells (IPS), mesenchymal, and hematopoietic stem cells.
DMSO serves as a cryoprotective agent that reduces the freezing point of the medium. This allows for a more sustainable cooling rate, reducing the potential damage from ice crystal formation. There is also a Fetal Bovine serum-containing medium for cryopreservation: FreezeMe One (CA FM1-F).
