Accumax, a cell detachment/ dissociation solution, is a ready-to-use, non-mammalian, non-bacterial replacement for all applications for trypsin and collagenase.
It contains proteolytic, collagenolytic, and DNAse enzymes, and it is suitable for various cell types used for passaging, tissue dissociation, dissolving cell clumps, cell counting, viral transfection assays, cell sorting, flow cytometry, and bioreactor scale-up.
Accumax is useful for increasing the accuracy of cell counts. Since Accumax, like Accutase (Cat. No. CA ACC-1B), does not affect the surface epitopes of the cells, it is thus ideal for FACS Analysis, where even small changes in the cell's properties may have a significant impact on the results.
