Tris-buffered saline with HCl is slightly alkalic and has a 7-9,2 pH range buffer capacity. 0,89 M Tris-borate, 0,02 M EDTA (disodium salt), pH 8,3. It is often used in molecular biology to prepare electrophoresis gels.
